Stoke St Milborough Village Hall Management Committee currently comprises the following members, who were voted in at the January 2026 AGM:
Liz Beaumont (Committee Member & Trustee) Caroline Dahn (Chairman & Trustee) Tony Guest (Committee Member) Nick Jones (Committee Member) Emma Martin (Committee Member) Brian Norgrove (Committee Member & Trustee) Phil Reilly (Committee Member) Martin Scott (interim Treasurer& Trustee) Ashley Smith (interim Secretary & Bookings & Trustee) Billie Urey-Guest (Committee Member & Trustee)
It was agreed that Ashley and Martin could take more of a back seat this year, so as to be able to focus on increasing workload and care for parents. They agreed to carry on with their previous administrative duties until such time as a new Treasurer, Secretary and Booking Secretary come forward to take over the roles.
Various additional volunteers help out on a regular basis with organising certain events and activities, but do not sit on the committee in a formal capacity. Current volunteers include:
Bev Harris Jerry Hollens Chris Moore Helen Sharp
We are also delighted to have the services of Chris Baird, who cleans the hall for us as required on a self-employed basis.
The Committee meets approximately six times a year to discuss bookings, forthcoming events, ongoing projects, maintenance and the state of the current finances, as managed and reported by the Treasurer.
The Village Hall's accounts for each year are submitted to the Charities Commission website and you can view our entry here.
