St Milburga's Church works in association with the charity Caring For God's Acre in order to maintain the churchyard in a sustainable and affordable way. Several days in each year are dedicated to bringing together volunteers to tidy the churchyard using traditional methods, whilst ensuring the biodiversity of the green space.

All are welcome to come along and volunteer whenever a CFGA day is taking place. A free ploughman's lunch, tea and coffee are offered to all volunteers.
